​Bonnie Nicks, CCC-MS, is a speech and language pathologist and founder of The Learning Center in Bowling Green, KY. Operating since 2007, The Learning Center provides specialized intervention for students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. Bonnie offers evaluations for diagnosing learning disabilities as well as literacy therapy programs to help struggling readers.
Bonnie has centered her life on helping struggling learners. During her thirty year career in public school systems, Bonnie observed holes in the education programs centered around students who learn differently. She dedicated her research and her business to these students, hoping to fill those holes through research-based tutoring methods. In addition to being a certified SLP, she is also certified in Multisensory Structured Literacy Methodology. She has served on the Scientific Advisory Board since 2016.
